Frequently asked

What is Grove88?

Grove88 is a web directory — an indexed catalogue of submitted sites organised into 22 sections. It is maintained as a standing record of the open web, updated as new entries are reviewed and approved.

Is it free to list my site?

Yes. Submission is free for any site. Operators complete a short form, and once a basic review confirms the listing is a live web presence, the entry is added to the relevant section.

How are sites organised?

Sites are grouped into one of 22 sections based on their primary subject area. Within a section, listings appear in the order they were added. There is no ranking or scoring system.

How do I submit a site?

Use the Add a Site form linked from the navigation. You will be asked for the site URL, a title, a short description, and the most relevant section. Submissions are reviewed before going live.

How long does review take?

Most submissions are reviewed within a few working days. The directory is maintained by a small team and review times vary with volume.

What kinds of sites are accepted?

Grove88 accepts submissions from any functioning website across any topic. The review checks that the submission is a live, identifiable web presence. The directory reserves the right to decline entries that appear to be spam or empty redirect pages.

Can I update or remove my listing?

At present, Grove88 does not have a self-service editing tool. To request a correction or removal, contact the directory using the submission form and describe the change needed.

About Grove88

Grove88 is a web directory that takes its name from the tradition of the printed almanac — a standing record of what exists, updated as new entries arrive. The index currently spans 829 submitted sites across 22 sections, ranging from Oral Health & Dentistry to General Registry. Each entry was submitted by the site operator and links directly to that destination without intermediary. Sections are maintained as a running chronicle of the web rather than as a curated recommendation list. New submissions are reviewed before appearing in the public index. Readers are encouraged to browse by section or to submit their own site using the form provided.
